Are you a gymnastics coach or run a gymnastics club? Welcome to a new way of doing things.
Here, we’ll dive into why Teamer could be your not-so-secret weapon for gymnastics admin. A quick way to see who’s available, select your gymnasts and collect fees.
Gymnastics team management doesn’t have to be difficult or too time-consuming.
Gymnasts and parents know where the competition is on Saturday. Your team can discuss that winning routine and celebrate those medals.
Gym owners are able to use Teamer to manage their gymnastics classes, helping regular customers stay updated.
Teamer provides club management tools to tackle admin and make life easier for everyone. Here’s how…
Getting started
To get up and running on Teamer, all you need to do is to create your team. This can be done in minutes by the gymnastics coach or team manager, with the option to add a team name, team crest and team photo.
Each gymnast’s profile can be personalised; they can add a photo, a bio and favourite tumbler or Olympic champion for inspiration.
Plus, the gymnastics team manager can include private comments on each page. Members will all be visible on the member section of your Teamer page, and their details can be viewed when needed.
Who else can you invite?
As well as your gymnasts, you can also invite others to be involved on Teamer.
This could be coaches, parents, team volunteers or supporters who want to be kept in the loop!
As the team manager, you decide the status of other team members and adjust their account privileges accordingly.
For example, you could give access to one specific committee member to oversee the payments.
Gymnastics events can be published with ease on the events page. You can schedule training sessions, classes, competitions or socials.
In just a few taps on the app, organise a session from pirouettes to pike position with all the details on the activity screen.
Notify your gymnasts about a change in venue and the whole team gets an email, text or app notification, depending on their settings.
The events page shows the events in a list view, and there is also a calendar view so you can clearly see those coming up in the next few weeks.
You can connect the team calendar to your personal Google, iCal, or Outlook calendar, and all future Teamer events will automatically be synchronised!
The calendar view makes it straightforward for gymnasts or parents to share their availability.
They just need to click on a certain day and drag across for however many days they are not available, and those days will become red on their calendar.
This information will be displayed on the team manager’s calendar, and the gymnasts will automatically be marked as unavailable for any events during that time.
On an individual event page, the manager has the opportunity to select the lineup and put gymnasts on standby.
The gymnasts can then accept or decline, and you don’t have to chase anyone down on the day to see if they can make a routine.
Attendance
View attendance for your gymnastics team across a season. No more guessing. Make smart decisions on selection and gymnast management based on the Teamer app.
The attendance page shows a chart of all the recent statistics - the gymnastics events and which gymnast could make it. You can even see a historic record for a gymnast too for a broader picture.
Great news - no more counting cash or visits to the bank. With Teamer, you can move all of your gymnastics team payments online, saving you hours and knowing who’s paid and when.
Setting up your team with Teamer payments takes minutes:
If you’re organising gymnastics, doing it with Teamer instead of looking through bank statements or counting out cash will help. Getting paid direct to your bank account has to be the way to go.
Your gymnastics Teamer page includes a gallery section, where anyone can upload photos and videos to share with team members.
The media can be seen by everyone in the team, and they can leave comments too.
Teamer also has a document page where anyone can upload a document securely that will be seen by all the team members. You could share a photo of new gymnastics equipment or a video from yesterday’s aerial display.
Sometimes you need to get a message out to all your team members as quickly as possible. Or just want to have a conversation online with other gymnasts.
A team Whatsapp group is just another platform to have to use.Likewise, instead of a confusing email thread or so many texts, use your teamtalk section to share any essential updates.
That way, it’s all in the same place for everyone to refer to. You can send messages that will be seen by all team members, whether gymnasts, parents or volunteers.
Everyone can opt into your preferred mode of communication - email and notifications via the Teamer mobile app. All email and app notifications are free.
Discover top performances and medallists
All event pages have a section for gymnasts to leave comments, and there is a report section for the team manager as well.
Gymnasts can leave comments to applaud a teammate on a new personal best or medal.
The manager can write a report afterwards, describing all of the impressive performances and what’s coming up next.
Teamer’s popularity with gymnastics clubs stems from helping everyone from teams to community groups; both organisers and participants.
Why is Teamer great for gymnastics coaches?
