Are you a rugby league coach or run a rugby league team? Welcome to a new way of doing things.
Here’s why Teamer could be the answer to your rugby league team management admin. A way to know who can play, pick your Thirteen and collect match fees.
The admin of running a rugby club doesn’t have to take up all of your spare time.
With the Teamer app, rugby league players and parents can see when the first team game is, your team can chat about the Super League or buy tickets to a club event.
It can be used by anyone running rugby events across the year.
Let’s explain how…
Getting started
The first step in your Teamer journey is to create your team. This can be done quickly by the team manager, with the option to add a team name, team crest and team photo.
Each player’s team member profile can be personalised and players can fill in their key information - a photo, a bio and their favourite team and player.
In addition, the team manager can add private comments to each page. Members will all be visible on the member section of your Teamer page, and their details can be viewed quickly.
Who else can you invite?
As well as league players, you can also invite other valuable team members on Teamer.
This could be other rugby league coaches, parents, team volunteers or anyone else who wants to be kept in the loop!
As the team manager, you set the status of other team members and change their account privileges when necessary. You could grant access to a committee member to manage the payments.
Fixtures can be created quickly on the events page. You can schedule training sessions, upcoming matches or even social occasions.
Notify your players about an extra training session this week, and the entire team will receive an email, SMS message or app notification, depending on their settings.
The events page displays the events in a list view, and there is also a calendar view so you can see all the events coming up in the next few weeks.
You can connect the team calendar to your personal Google, iCal, or Outlook calendar, and all future Teamer events will automatically be synchronised!
The calendar view makes it straightforward for players to share their availability.
They just need to click on a certain day and drag across for however many days they are not available. Those days will then become red on their calendar.
This information will be displayed on the team manager’s calendar, and the players will automatically be marked as unavailable for any events during that time.
On an individual event page, the manager has the opportunity to select the lineup and put players on standby. The players can then accept or decline their position, and you don’t have to chase anyone down at 11pm to find out if they can play.
Attendance
View attendance data for your rugby league team across a season. No more guessing. Make informed decisions on selection and player management.
The attendance page allows you to see a chart of all the recent statistics - the events and which players turned up. You can even see a player’s attendance percentage over a certain time!
Gone are the days of counting cash and trips to the bank. With Teamer, you can move all of your rugby league payments online, saving you time and ensuring everyone pays their fees when they should.
Setting up your team with Teamer payments is quick and easy:
Instead of scrolling through bank statements, getting paid directly to your bank account via Teamer is the way to go. An electronic record of who’s paid that’s easy to find.
Your Teamer page has a gallery section, where anyone can upload photos and videos to share with team members.
The media can be viewed by everyone in the team, and they can leave comments as well.
Teamer also comes equipped with a document page. Anyone can upload a document securely that will be seen by all the team members. There is the option to notify team members whenever you upload a photo, video or document.
There is no more need for ignored messages in team Whatsapp groups! Sometimes you need to get a message out to all your team members as quickly as possible.
Instead of a long email thread or lots of texts, use your teamtalk section to share any essential updates.
It keeps it all together. You can send messages that will be seen by all team members, whether players, supporters or anyone else involved.
Everyone can opt into your preferred mode of communication - email and notifications via the Teamer mobile app. All email and app notifications are free.
Keep track of try scorers or player of the match
Every event page has a section for players to leave comments, and there is a report section for the team manager as well.
Players can leave comments to rave about an incredible try or debate a shock sending off.
The manager can write a match report after each game, detailing the try scorers and the player of the match, or they can offer tactical observations for future.
Teamer’s popularity comes from being useful for different roles within teams, clubs and community groups.
